Welcome to the
NY Air Conditioner Guide
We have assembled information for buying and servicing room and office air conditioners in Manhattan and
the Greater New York Area. The Guidelines are based on a Report of the Better Business Bureau,
information taken from web sites, and a survey of dealers and consumers.
The focus of the Guide was on
companies that sell and service room air conditioners - window and
through-the-wall types - as a specialty business. We excluded
companies that also carried central air conditioning systems, coolers,
etc., as well as companies that also carried other appliances (e.g., TV
sets) in addition to air conditioners.
